Q. Where are the windows made?

A. Masterpiece Leaded Windows has been making Leaded Glass Windows in San Diego for over 20 years.

Q. Does the price of the windows include installation?

A. Yes. All prices include shipping and installation.

Q. Do the windows come with any kind of a warranty?

A. Yes. We offer a 10 Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials, workmanship and installation (including leakage).

Q. Do the windows come in their own frame?

A. No, we use the exiting window frame. The installation process includes replacing the existing glass pane, usually dual pane glass, with our single or triple pane leaded glass window.

Q. Will swapping out my dual pane window for a leaded glass single pane window effect the energy efficiency requirements of my home.

A. No. The difference in the U-Value rating of the Low-E dual pane window and our Masterpiece Leaded Glass Windows is .20. (2 tenths of one percent).

Note: Our triple pane product is more energy efficient than a dual pane window.

Q. Are there difference prices for the five different types of background glass?

A. No. All five types of glass (Plain, Glue Chip, Clear Waterglass, Smoked Waterglass & Vine Glass) are the same price.

Q. Are the windows limited to fixed window locations?

A. No. We also make sliding windows, as well as single hung windows (vertical sliders), cabinet doors and tempered windows (Safety glass) when required by code.

Q. How long does it take to get the windows installed?

A. The windows can be installed 4 to 6 weeks from date of order.
